FCCLA State Officer Selection

On February 25, Tiffany Kuhn attended FCCLA state officer selection.  13 FCCLA members competed in an intense selection process for only 8 positions. To become a state officer, candidates must pass a written FCCLA knowledge test. Stand in front of a group of six adults who ask behavioral interview questions in two separate sessions.  The first being twelve behavioral questions, and the second consisting of 10 behavioral questions. The questions they ask are random, so you never know what they are going to ask. Tiffany had to prepare a speech on an FCCLA topic such as leadership. Tiffany also was given a situation that an FCCLA state officer might encounter and compose a typed letter. This was a very long day, but Tiffany did a great job.   Tiffany was not selected for a State Officer position, but Tiffany being a freshman will try again next year.  It was good experience for Tiffany, and this process will help give her the confidence for any job interview.
