Parents/Guardians of USD 387 Students:
This has been a hard time for myself, as I enjoy having every single student in my classroom. We were about to begin activities and games that included the outdoors, I am very sad we will not get to experience that together this school year. The safety of all parents, students, and staff is the most important thing moving forward! Although we can’t control what has happened, we can control what we do moving forward. I am going to do my part to ensure all students and parents have resources to stay physically educated through this tough time. At the bottom of this page will be a link to my website. I will change and add information roughly once a week. I aim to keep things fresh, and maintain motivation to be active. I know many of us are still struggling to develop a plan moving forward. However, I encourage everyone to set aside 30-60 minutes a day to get moving, even if you are not utilizing my website of resources.
I am open to communicate and help both parents and students Monday-Friday 8:00AM- 3:00PM. I would like to keep all communications through my email, lhuffman@usd387.org. If we need to make a phone or video call, that can be set up by emailing me. Reach out if there is anything I can clarify or help with. I strongly encourage you use my website to stay active as the information will be easily accessible.
