I would like to take a moment to send out a HUGE thank you to the Altoona-Midway family! Our Prom was a wonderful success. It was great to see so many family members and friends here to witness the Grand March. Our students looked so nice all dressed up, and it created such a wonderful atmosphere! The mood continued throughout the evening, and I believe Prom was a great success again this year. The juniors and their sponsors did a fantastic job preparing for this event, and I am very proud of them all!
The second HUGE thank you I would like to send out goes to the AMHS Booster Club! All of the time and effort they put into preparing for After Prom paid off tremendously! So many people stepped up to produce all of the things needed, and all of the things they built or created for the event were amazing! The kids were constantly moving, smiling, and joining in all the games the entire night. It was a very successful event. Rhonda Walker, elementary custodian, wanted to compliment everyone who cleaned up the gym at After Prom. She told me that in all the years she has been with us that it was the best clean up she has ever had!!
And my final HUGE thank you goes out to everyone for all of the help and support we received for our first home track meet in many years. So many people from within the school and community stepped up to make this event happen. Our track looked and performed great, and our kids were so fun to watch! I am looking forward to what we will be able to accomplish in the future!
