AMHS Lady Jets Volleyball

ARMA – The Altoona-Midway High School volleyball team dropped both of their matches in a
triangular held here Tuesday.


The Lady Jets opened the day falling to Northeast High School, 25-18, 25-13; and AMHS was
also defeated by St. Paul 25-12, 25-5.


“This was our last regular season games,” said Altoona-Midway head coach Michelle
Stackhouse. “We will be playing next in sub-state on Saturday, Oct. 21.”
On the day, Emmalynn Pupanek finished with 26 attacks, 37 digs, 15 blocks and two aces.
Summer Raymond had 42 sets and seven serves, including an ace, while Jyl Davis and Chantal
Morales each had 16 digs. Morales finished with nine serves and two aces while Davis recorded
seven serves and one ace.

Chloe Stewart also chipped in with 10 serves and 17 digs, while Peyton Drake registered four
serves and Eryn Tiger had three.
AMHS will take a 1-22 overall record into the Class 1A, Division II sub-state, which will be held
at Waverly. The number one seed in that sub-state will be Lebo, which sports an impressive 28-
2 record.
