There will be limited number of vouchers for Friday's sub-state boys semi-final game as the Jets take on Southern Coffey County at St. Paul at 8:00 PM on Friday. These vouchers will be given away first come first served. If you would like vouchers, email jalmond@usd387.org or call 620-537-7711. Let us know how many vouchers you would like. You will need to pick the vouchers up from the school. Once it is confirmed that you will receive vouchers, you can come to the school and we will bring the vouchers to your vehicle. You will need the vouchers to get into the game. Only patrons with vouchers will be allowed in. The cost to get in the game will be $7.00. You will pay that when you enter the game at St. Paul, not when you pick up your voucher. You can email or call with questions. A mask and social distancing will be mandatory at the game.

Our high school boys basketball team had an amazing 75-31 victory over Marmaton Valley in their first sub-state game!

The Fredonia Arts Council had their 2021 Children's art poster competition. The Stone House Gallery in Fredonia will be displaying the art from February 24th through March 12th, from 10am to 2pm. Sub-State Basketball Admission Prices:
The KSHSAA sets the admission prices for all Sub-State Basketball games.
Admission price is $7.00 for Adults & $7.00 for Students.
No passes will be accepted.
Class 1A Division II Sub-State brackets have been announced. On Thursday, Feb 25, the AMHS girls, (7), will travel to Waverly. The game will begin at 7:00 PM. On Friday, Feb 26, the AMHS boys, (2), will host Marmaton Valley beginning at 7:00 PM. Good luck Jets!
USD 387 will be in school tomorrow at regular time. All busses will be running.
On Friday night, the AMHS boys and girls basketball teams will be hosting Jayhawk Linn. The girl's varsity game will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by the boys game. Parent's night will take place Friday at half-time of the girls varsity game. Homecoming will also be Friday night and will take place between the girls and the boys game.
The Sr. Class will hold their quilt raffle drawings at halftime of the boys varsity game.
On Saturday, there will be a hs girls varsity game as the Lady Jets will host Chase County. That game will begin at 1:30. Girls game only.
On Monday evening, Feb. 22, the AMHS girls basketball team will host St. Paul beginning at 6:00 PM. Also on Monday, the AMHS boys varsity basketball team will be traveling to Arma to take on Northeast HS. That game will also begin at 6:00 PM.

Reminder: each participant will be allowed to have 4 guests come to the events on Friday, Saturday and Monday. These names must be given to the school in advance. The players/cheerleaders/Homecoming participants need to get this information to their coach/sponsor ASAP.
Any other basketball games that was originally on the calendar will not be made up unless mentioned above. The school calendar on our website has been updated with this information.
There will be no Middle School Quiz bowl tomorrow. It will be rescheduled.

In accordance with a request from State and local energy providers to conserve energy during this extreme weather event, USD 387 Schools will be closed both Tuesday, February 16th and Wednesday, February 17th.
