The AMHS b-ball teams will play Marais des Cygne in Melvern 2/23/18. Boys JV at 5:00, followed by the girls varsity then the boys varsity.

FCCLA Thank-A-Teacher Day!

Human Growth and Development after learning about infants. Katie Nalley brought her two month son, Wesson. The students interviewed Katie about her pregnancy, delivery and how life has changed with a new baby. Some of students were brave enough to hold Wesson. The students throughly enjoyed their visit.
School closed, Wed., Feb. 21st.
The HS basketball games originally scheduled for tonight with N. E. will be played Thur., 2/22/18 in Arma. The games will begin at 5:00.
The Intro to FACS classes practiced making yeast breads, and shaped them into cute animals. We had several turtles, a lion, and even a monkey. Cute and tasted yummy!

There is no school on Friday, 2/16 for Staff In-Service. Also, there is no school on Monday, 2/19.
Jets gearing up for the final home game of the season. Its Pep Assembly time! We will also be honoring our Seniors tonight. Starts at 5:00.

Preschool wanted to surprise Mr. Jimmy for his birthday!! He got a crown, cupcakes, and played with balloons!!! Happy Birthday Mr.Jimmy!!!!
5th Grade science used Google Expeditions to go on an underwater excursion led by Ms. Clinesmith!

Congrats to the Little Team That Can!! AMHS forensics team brought home some hardware from the Marmaton Valley forensics meet, placing 3rd. Caitlin Maxwell qualified for state in extemporaneous speaking, Sophia Willard placed 6th, and newcomer, Sadie Maple placed 5th. In humorous solo acting Abby Lockhart placed 6th and Sophia Willard placed 10th. Jordann Shay & Dawson Ashmore placed 6th in improvised duet acting and Caitlin Maxwell placed 6th in prose. The AMHS Booster Club will be hosting a spaghetti dinner this evening before the basketball games this evening.

Weather is keeping us inside, but the children are loving the jump ropes!! They use them as snakes, jumping, follow the leader, their imaginations never cease!!
