School will be dismissed at 12:30 next Monday, April 10th to accommodate the home track meet.

Throughout the Public Health Emergency, Medicaid renewals were paused due to COVID-19 but beginning this week, state Medicaid agencies will begin reviews to determine whether patients are eligible to renew coverage. Families receiving Medicaid should watch for a letter notifying them of documentation needs for renewed coverage, or a coverage end date if they are no longer eligible. AMHS has joined forces with Yates Center baseball again this year. They recently traveled to Pleasanton, but the night was cut short due to lightning.

Due to a current power outage at the school, we will not be able to receive incoming calls at this time.

Yesterday was WILD Wednesday for the elementary students! They got to spend some time with Mr. Pearce learning about plants and soil. #itsagreatdaytobeajet

AMHS FCCLA is hosting a raffle drawing to help cover the cost to attend National Leadership Conference this summer. The members have been selling chances with a unique blackout game. The drawing for the raffle was scheduled for Friday, March 31st, but has been rescheduled for Monday, April 3. The drawing will be posted on the Altoona-Midway USD 387 Facebook page. If you are interested in purchasing spots email ccaylor@usd387.org and Mrs. Caylor will have a member contact you. On Saturday, March 25, 2023, the Forensics team traveled to Moran. Two of our students made it to finals and Freshman, Shelbi Bryant medaled first in Poetry and will now qualify for State! Congratulations!

On Tuesday evening, March 21, 2023, the HS Forensics team brought home medals. Five medals. All five team members medaled. Kaylene Dorsey medaled first in Prose and will go to State. Summer Raymond medaled first in Extempt and will go to State. Both girls have now medaled in three events for State. Karissa Cook medaled third in Humourous. Shelbi Bryant medaled third in Poetry and Eryn Tiger medaled fourth in Prose.
