This Thursday, Summer Academy will be enjoying an in school field trip. The buses will take the students home as normal after lunch.

Reminder:
Basketball camp for elementary and middle school students will take place on June12, 13 & 14. We will use the same transportation schedule that we used for volleyball and football camps. Please see our previous post concerning transportation times. Elementary students need a note from a guardian in order to participate if they did not participate in camps last week.

Summer Academy
This week we are focused on the magic of flying, and are headed to Sky Zone in Topeka (1801 SW Wanamaker Rd Suite B20) Thursday to do some flying of our own. Here is some important information about our day. **Buses will not run in the evening. All students must be picked up at the high school.** Parents are welcome to meet us there, cost will be $15.99 per jumper (socks included). If you do not wish to jump, you do not need to pay. All persons at the facility MUST have a waiver on file. We will then be headed to Gage Park for lunch. Sack lunches will be provided for the students. You may message Diane at 620-636-1266 with any questions or concerns, or change in plans.
**Please go to skyzone.com, click on waiver and follow the prompts. Everyone in attendance must have a waiver on file, jumping or not!!**

Summer Academy pick-up information-
Summer Academy starts Monday, June 5th . Breakfast is at 7:45 AM. Classes run from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. If students are not staying for Summer Sports Camps they will leave at 12:15ish and delivered to their homes or drop off points. Drop off times will be approximately 12:30 for the country students (Park & Church)
Buses will run in Altoona, Buffalo, and TuLakes. In-town pick ups will begin at 7:00 AM. If you live in the country please be at the park in Altoona or the First United Methodist Church in Buffalo by 7:30 AM.

Information for summer sports camps for elementary and MS students.
All students are welcome to attend summer sports camps. Elementary students may attend summer sports camps by returning the permission form or by sending a note from a guardian with your child to Summer Academy. If permission is not obtained, the students will be sent home after Summer Academy. You can also give permission by emailing jalmond@usd387.org. Simply list your child's name, your name and give permission. MS students are free to attend by being at the pick up spots at the designated times.
Week one June 5-7
Football and Volleyball will be offered.
Week two June 12-14
Basketball will be offered for boys and girls
When Summer Academy is over at 12:15 the students that are not staying for summer sports camp will be delivered to their home.
IMPORTANT FOR MS CAMPERS: After the buses deliver the elementary students home that did not attend camp, there will be two pick up spots for MS sports camps. In Buffalo, the bus will pick up at the First United Methodist Church at approximately 1:15. The pick up spot in Altoona will be at the shelter house in the park at approximately 1:20-1:30.
For elementary students staying for sports camps:
The camps for elementary students will begin at 12:15 and end at 1:45. At 1:45, the buses will deliver the elementary students home.
The MS camps will run from 1:45-3:15.
At 3:15, a bus will drop off MS students in Buffalo at The First United Methodist Church at 3:25 and at the park in Altoona at 3:45
