Due to a loss of inventory from the fire at the elementary school, the Summer Meal Program will begin June 7th and not June 1st. More details to follow.
We apologize for the lateness of this message. We are in need of volunteers to be at the Altoona-Midway Elementary School in Altoona at 9:00 AM, Sunday May 30, to help board up and secure the building. If you have tools, please bring them!
There was a fire at the elementary building in Altoona this afternoon. We are assessing the damage at this time. A statement will be issued as more information comes available.

Please see attached for important information regarding Driver’s Ed. transportation. The district is providing transportation for the classroom portion of the course only. Parents/Guardians will need to arrange separate transportation for the driving portion of the course.
Congratulations to Joshua Meigs! He received a $1000 Orscheln Farm and Home Scholarship through the National FFA Organization and will be recognized during the Virtual Kansas FFA Convention next week for this accomplishment. Best of luck, Joshua! You will be missed at Altoona-Midway
